How to get Bats Blood out of your carpet
SHRIEK! You’ve just knocked over your delicious glass of of Transylvanian Bats Blood all over your cream carpet and the rich, red nectar is looking like a blood stain.
Well firstly shame on you for not being more careful with this beautiful Merlot and quite frankly I’d be down on my hands and knees with a straw desperately trying to suck it out of the fibers!
However, the thing to do is to act quickly. If the Dark Master finds out what you've done you could be drained of your very own red juices. Run to the pantry with haste and grab some fresh garlic, if you have a cross, find it and get a glass of water and start saying the Lords Prayer over it profusely. That should keep The Master at bay for a while....
Now the important thing is to get as much of the wine out as quickly as possible by blotting with paper towels. If you have any white wine pour this all over the red stain or if not use white vinegar. Leave for a few minutes and rinse away with water. Failing this pour heaps of salt over the fresh stain and hoover up when dry. If you still have a mark on your carpet in the morning then carpet removal sprays should do the trick. If not, then call in the cleaners and get your carpets professionally cleaned.
